This theme approaches creative practice not just as an object of research but as a mode of enquiry spanning a host of approaches and methods.  It foregrounds explorative, experimental, experiential, embodied and process-oriented ways of knowing and transmitting knowledge, as well as procedures that are collaborative and responsive to specific contexts and entanglements. For these reasons, the position of the researcher is also a key concern as are art and agency in relation to marginalised voices and experiences. 

Topics we are interested in:  Process-oriented research, artistic research, embodied and embedded methods, practical dramaturgy, critical fabulation and imaginaries, holistic methods, practice-based research, experimental ways of knowing, agential prefiguration, creative methods, dialogical art.
