This project involves Sigrid Merx, Anastasia Hacopian and Trine Friis Sørensen, who together are developing a learning activity and a research article on Co-created Positionality Statements. The purpose of the project is to enable students working in a group tobecome aware of and reflect on their own positionality and that of others. This will enable them to develop a collective understanding of how each of them can contribute most productively to the group and the group’s project. The project utilizes a holistic approach to positionality involving head (thinking), heart (being) and hand (making). The latter, together with a collective rather than an individual approach, adds an additional creative dimension to Hacopian’s Positionality Wheel and situates the project in response to the Creative Humanities.
